Hey Friends,
This week marks the start of a brand new month, and just yesterday, May came to a close. So I thought I’d share something pretty cool that’s been on my mind lately: the art of making your calendar so full that it energises you. (Yep, I’ve been talking about this for weeks now.)
It’s called “The Push Game.”
And even though it only takes 10 minutes, it’s one of those things that has really stuck with me.
Here’s how it works:
Before you go to sleep, spend just 10 minutes—grab your phone or, even better, a notebook—and write out your ideal day for tomorrow. The only goal? Make your calendar FULL. That’s it. Fill it up until you feel like, “Whoa, I’m pushing myself.”
When I started doing this on May 1st, I felt all kinds of resistance:
“This feels too overwhelming.”
“This takes too much effort.”
“I can’t plan my day—I don’t even know what I’m doing!”
But then I committed to what I call my 100 Days of Suck Plan—a season where I just push hard, again and again, building my power from the inside out.
And here’s where it gets interesting…
After just one week of doing this consistently, I started catching myself mid-day asking:
“How can I feel more pleasure in this moment?”
Whether I was chilling on the sofa or eating a meal, the same question would pop up:
“How can I enjoy this moment more?”
That’s the magic of the Push Game—it’s always available to us.
At any moment, you can create this mini mental calendar where the goal is clear: push yourself, feel alive, and go hard.
You can play it like this:
Wake up
Work, work, work
Sleep
Repeat
In every moment, there’s so much more push or hard work available than what we usually default to. But often, all it takes to enjoy ourselves more is just to set that as an intention. I forget this a lot, but I’m trying to remind myself more and more.
Have a great week!
Satyam xx
